Monday’s Favorite Things

Good morning my blog lovers! I want to share some of my favorite things on this cloudy Monday:

I am loving this house tour from Apartment Therapy. This bedroom is lovely. The carved wooden headboard, the floor bed, the bright yellow… It all works really well for me.

Another amazing house tour this time from Design Sponge. I am a huuuuge fan on the grayish taupe wall, the vaulted ceilings and the neutral everything else.

A sweet weekend project from Design Sponge. Bringing the outdoors in with rocks and wood.

A vintage bathroom home tour by A Beautiful Mess.

Inspired by this cloud 9 dreamy gem from Desire to Inspire. Monochrome done right.

Moroccan inspiration from sfgirlbybay.

Well, I hope my inspirations have inspired you as well. Also, most of those blogs are my go-to’s on a daily so you should check them out if you aren’t already acquainted with them.

Enjoy today!

Southwest Inspiration

I know, I know. I’ve been gone for a while. 5 days and counting. Yikes! I’ve been really busy lately with a bunch of different projects which I look forward to sharing with you the more I get into it them.

So lets talk Southwest style. What? Southwest style? Ya… I’m kinda a big fan. What is Southwest style? Well, it generally is a design style that uses a lot of earth tones, rough textures, brightly colored woven fabrics, lots of terracottas, and crafty eclectic objects. Check it out:

I love it. So warm, grounded and colorful. Yes, please!

Old Doors

Just like old windows, doors can have many different functions other than their obvious prime function. Old doors can be so beautiful. They can be morphed into something different like a table or a headboard or they can be placed in a nice vignette in an area of the room and just sit pretty. Check it:

Are you inspired yet?!

A Splash of Yellow

Remember when I blogged about yellow & grey ? Well, I’m back to talk about yellow. This time, splashes of yellow. I think because this winter has been so sunny and beautiful, I am so inspired to keep my home bright. I’m dreading the day that we finally get hit hard with the gloomy weather so I am preparing myself now. Yellow can be really overwhelming. That is why splashes or yellow accents can do the trick. Check it out:

Here’s to another dreadful sunny winter day ;)
